NANOMEDICINE: applications from bench to bedside - part 2
The session will be co-organized by Nanomedicine Platform of University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and Laboratory of Nanomedicine and Clinical Biophotonics (LABION), IRCCS Fondazione Don Gnocchi. Nanotechnology applications in medicine will be highlighted with particular focus on development of targeted nanopharmaceuticals and nanodiagnostics technologies, biomaterials, implants and regenerative medicine and how nanomedicine offers numerous potential pathways to improving therapeutic and diagnostic chances. A dedicated focus will be devoted to Nanomedicine Policy with connection to actual regulators and rules in the field. This session will focus also on the role Nanomedicine as strategic issue for the competitive position of the healthcare industry in Europe, due to the presence of key-note speaker from European Technology Platform for Nanomedicine.
