This session is focused on "Synthesis and characterization of 2D nanomaterial”, highlighting some keynote advancement in this field, namely emerging classes of 2D monoelemental lattices beyond graphene, advanced anisotropic synthesis strategies of graphene materials and 2D transition metal dichalcogenides as well as recent advancements in advanced characterization of 2D materials.
